NEW DELHI: Nagpur mirrors a diverse demographic and continues to be a pivotal constituency in Maharashtra. In 2024, the electorate exhibits even more enthusiasm to assert the strength of their vote.

Among the prominent candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha Constituency in Nagpur are Nitin Jairam Gadkari from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Vikas Thakare from the Indian National Congress.

The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Nagpur were characterised by intense competition. The constituency recorded a voter turnout of 54.74% that year.
Nitin Jairam Gadkari, the BJP candidate, emerged victorious with a substantial margin of 2,16,009 votes, garnering a total of 6,60,221 votes. His closest competitor, Nana Patole of the INC, secured 4,44,212 votes.
Voting date and result
The Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency will vote on 19th April 2024, with results announced on 4th June, as per the Election Commission’s announcement on March 16.
